Scheduled for Summer 2014
In the coming months, four 57-foot long folded steel plate girders will be used by the State of Nebraska Department of Roads in the replacement of a two-lane bridge in Boone County. CDR Bridge Systems, LLC is contracted with the delivery of the girders for use on the federal-aid local project known as Primrose East. The state’s contractor will precast concrete deck panels on the girders, and the composite folded steel plate girder units will be erected onto geosynthetic reinforced soil abutments.
